Why would I buy your RAM-based SSDs when I can get so much more capacity with your Flash-based models?

Our RAM-based models will continue to be the systems of choice for applications with sustained random writes or for smaller databases. They have approximately 1/10th the latency of the Flash-based models. Our Flash-based models, however, are still more than 25x the speed of disks for reads and ideal for read intensive purposes, given their high density at an affordable cost. For customers with smaller data sizes the RAM-based models are the best solution. If an application requires the highest performance possible, our RAM systems are faster than our Flash systems.
